Guelph Drain Service is a booking line. It is not a plumbing company and it is not a directory. It connects to one local drain and sewer contractor that works across the city and the surrounding county — the clay and cast-iron laterals in The Ward, downtown, Old University and Exhibition Park, the PVC runs in Westminster Woods, Clairfields, Kortright Hills, Pine Ridge and Grange Hill East, and the septic properties out through Rockwood, Eden Mills, Puslinch, Aberfoyle, Morriston, Arkell and Ariss.
Drain work is one of the easiest trades in which to sell somebody the wrong thing, because the customer cannot see the pipe. A line gets cabled, water runs again, an invoice gets paid, and nobody mentions that the open joint which caused it is still open and the same call is coming back next winter. The point of this site is a straight line to a contractor who puts a camera in, shows you what was actually in there, and tells you whether you have bought a fix or a reprieve.
What we will not do: publish reviews we do not have, invent a star rating, quote a firm price before somebody has seen the job, or sell your phone number to a list of companies who will all call you.
What the contractor handles

- Sewer camera inspection, line locating and pre-purchase scopes
- Basement floor drain backups and recurring main line failures
- Frozen and root-blocked laterals in winter
- Blocked lines between the house and the tank on septic properties
What it does not handle
Septic tank pumping and bed replacement, water treatment and softeners, furnaces and general renovation plumbing, and sewage cleanup and restoration after a backup. Where a job belongs to a different trade you will be told, rather than sold a drain cleaning that was never going to fix it.
How this works
When you call 548-901-0034 or send the form, your details go straight to the contractor's office — not to a call centre and not to a bidding platform. They ask what is backing up and where, give you a range on the phone, and confirm a firm number on site before work starts. The work is done under their own licence and insurance. Your information is not sold, is not shared with a list of competing companies, and there is no markup added to your bill for the introduction.
What we won't do
- Publish reviews we didn't earn. When we have them, they'll be real ones with names.
- Quote a firm price before someone has seen the job.
- Send anyone into your property who we would not have in our own.
